Who here is afraid of the corona virus? Why are you afraid of it? I guess in a way, I could say that I am afraid of it. I don't much care if I get it, but I do fear for what might happen to others if they get it. In reality, I hear that the flu is actually worse, so it must not be very bad at all.
It may be easy to wonder why a loving God could let such a nasty sickness as this come and mess up a lot of things, but if you think about it, a lot of good could come out of it. Think of this as a new opportunity for God's glory to be shown to others. You can have discussions now that may not have happened if not for the sickness.
This is the way I think of the corona virus, and I know that a lot of other people share this opinion... God is letting this happen because he wants it to happen. Why would he want it to happen? Well this could be a good opportunity to show that God is in control. Some people may realize that instead of freaking out, the better thing to do is put your worries in the hands of God, because he will take care of you. I had a better way of explaining this, but I can't exactly remember. But take your fear to God, and you'll find peace.
Be looking for opportunities to share God's word with others! This is really not the end of the world and even it if it was, one thousand packs of toilet paper is probably not going to save you, unless God's hand is with them. If God wants the corona virus to happen, then I have a feeling something amazing is going to come out of it.
