"If you don't heal what hurt you, you'll bleed on people who didn't cut you." (-Unknown)
I think we can all agree that we have bad days. But why do we have bad days? Obviously something happened earlier, in which case you probably haven't gotten over it yet. It's understandable that some things take time to get over, I know that I take an annoying amount of time to get over some things, but that doesn't mean that I have to be mean to others. Just make sure you're not the cause of their bad day. Does this mean that you can still sulk and be rude to the particular person who caused you to be angry? Well, no. God tells us many times, "Do not repay evil for evil." Romans 12:17. "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you..." Luke 6:27.
When you are having a bad day, I understand that you will probably be thinking mostly of yourself and the terrible way you were treated, but try to think of the people around you. If you start lashing out on them, they will probably be confused as to why you are angry. They might start questioning you which might make you more angry, angry enough to say something unkind, and then they might be angry at you and hurt other people, and it will just become this horrible mess.
First of all, you need to take your problems to the Lord. That way, you can calm down, rethink some things, and it could've definitely been a huge misunderstanding. One of the best things for me to do when I am angry at someone else, is to look at their perspective. Because though it may seem like it, it's not all about you. You might actually be wrong sometimes. When you look at their perspective, it helps you to understand why they said what they said, or why they did what they did. You should definitely communicate to them when you are calmed down. This is something I struggle with much too often. Communication is probably my worst ability, and it is one of the best abilities to have.
Also, sometimes it's okay to rant to someone else about your troubles, just to get them out. That's why God gave us siblings, and parents, and spouses. Because sometimes, you just need to get it out, need to talk about it with someone else. I am the youngest of four, so it's really nice when talking to one of my siblings about something I'm struggling with, because they listen and understand, but if it's something I'm wrong about, they feed me good advice and give me a new point of view. One that keeps me on the right track when I stray a little.

Of course, the reason for a bad day could've definitely been not someone, but something. Really, you must remember to take your problems to the Lord. He can fix all troubles.
