Hello! Wow, this is quite late. Yes, the beginning of fall past a few weeks ago and I still haven't posted anything. I would say I haven't had the time, but I'm not sure that's a very good excuse. The truth is, I have been working on something new and it's been taking longer than expected, but I still want to continue blogging, so hopefully you'll start seeing me more regularly.
But first, let's catch up!
How was your guys' summers? Mine was fairly busy compared to others, and honestly quite exciting. The break from school was really refreshing, but I've got to say, I'm am SO happy it's fall! I've already finished a season of volleyball and am preparing myself for the next season of sports which is basketball. It's been amazing. But what else? I've been really into reading lately - when I start a series, I just CANNOT STOP! Also, I taught myself how to play the guitar over the summer, so that's been fairly painful, but mostly fun of course. ;) But what about you guys?
This year has definitely gone by in a blur! Or at least, that's what it feels like. God is really changing the world right now, as you can see if you just go step outside - the trees and leaves can't change on their own!... I love fall. It reminds me of a few verses:
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace." Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ESV
Life is certainly crazy as it goes through all different stages of life without warning. I'm so thankful God is unchanging, and that I can just rest in him when the rest of the world continues it's chaos.
Thanks for being so patient with me y'all as I start to blog again! I'm praying for you guys. :D
