Believing is seeing

I found this quote and thought I would share it with you all. It's kind of a different way to think about things. 

     "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." -C.S. Lewis

    A lot of people seem to think, "Seeing is believing." I'm sure you've heard that a hundred times in your life, but why not switch the words around a bit to make, "Believing is seeing."? That probably won't make sense for everything, but it does for God. He will open our eyes to so many incredible things - things that we haven't even imagined.
Without God, we really are pretty blind to the really good stuff, just like we would be blind without light. We don't only believe in something because we can see it. Wind is something we feel, not see. I don't know anyone who doesn't think wind exists, nor do I know anyone who can see wind. Can't you feel it inside you when you should do something right, or when you shouldn't do something wrong? That's God. Because God is in our hearts, we can feel him just like wind, and he gives us sight just like the sun. 

    Don't tell me you only believe in something because you can see it... because God shows us the way.
