Just do it

You know those people who are always like, "Yeah I'll do that later." or "I'll figure that out tomorrow." and then do they? Okay, depends what it is, because we're not talking about taking the trash out or even cleaning your room. No, but what do you need to change in YOU? Is there something that you know about yourself that you don't like and other people don't like and God doesn't like and you know you can change it, but you aren't because... why?

     What!? I can't change by staying the same? Yup, it's true.

   Okay, so why not? Things will develop over time right? Well yes. Some things, like growing. Obviously you can't make yourself grow taller, trust me. I've tried. But think of it this way. If you want to change your clothes, you can't change them by... not changing them. I feel like it's pretty clear. Changing something about yourself is not something that just happens. It's something you have to make happen. It may be hard, because you're so used to whatever it is you're doing. I mean I looked at myself and thought, "Oh I'm just this super sweet and kind girl that everyone loves." and then I wake up out of my dream and I'm like, "Ohhhh... nevermind." But the point is, I could be that "super sweet and kind girl" that I imagined... if I wanted to be. I, just like probably all of you, have this certain look for myself that I want to be like, and there are so many things I need to change and have changed, but still have yet to change, so why haven't I changed it if I could? Dunno, cuz I'm lazy? Well... yes. 

    Certainly all you are, all you should be, is what God wants you to be. And you should know that no matter how weird you are, you're never as weird as me... haha, just kidding, though it's probably true. No matter how weird you are, somebody really, truly does love you. Somebody really, truly does care. Apart from God, the maker, creator of the universe, the one who has the power to destroy all things, all evil, who loves you, so does someone else. And you don't need someone else to love you. God's love should be sufficient and it is, but isn't it nice to know that there is another person who loves you? No matter how much you think you're disliked, no matter how much you think you're hated, somebody loves you. Somebody cares.  

      I just wanted to make sure you didn't think I was saying, "You MUST change something about yourself. Today. Get a move on!" I mean if you want to change something about yourself, today seems like a pretty good day. So if there's something you know about yourself that you need to change, do it. God is the ultimate judge, so look to Him for help.
