Jesus is Better

Hey all! I apologize that I haven't been posting much lately. Life has gotten in the way, and last week was pretty hard for me. I wanted to share something that I was shown at church. It was really encouraging to me, especially after that hard week, so I hope that it will also be encouraging to you.

    Sometimes we are going to have hard weeks, but to get through it, we have to remember that Jesus knows what He's doing. We have to TRUST.
Trust is what I struggled with. I wrote notes around my room, and continued to remind myself of verses, but nothing seemed to be working. I couldn't seem to trust in the Lord no matter how hard I tried. Before that week, I asked God to make me grow, and I thought I was prepared for it to rain, but apparently, I wasn't. After that week, I did learn something, something I thought I already knew: trust is not something you do when your life is prospering. You have to trust in Jesus when your life is falling apart. You can't try to fix anything by yourself, because things will just become worse. You have to realize that after every hard day, week, month, you will learn something and as long as you don't give in, give up, you will become stronger in the Lord. Jesus IS better than what you think you know.
