The "A" in "Q&A"

Hey all! I have finally decided to post my answers for our Q&A. Thank you to everyone who has posted questions! I love them all.

1. What book would I say has had the most impact on my life and why?
I really love the book Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. The authors write in a way that captures your attention throughout the whole book, and it really motivates you to begin leading a inspiring life as a teen! Another book I really enjoy is called The Greatest Among You by Randy Sims, for the same reasons as Do Hard Things.

2. How do I come up with all of my topics to write about?
All of these quotes I find on Pinterest, and a lot of the music I find are given to me from friends! ;D I also listen to a lot of music.

3. What was my most memorable Christmas gift?
I think it was three years ago, my parents purchased three plane tickets and a season pass to Universal Studios California for my brother, sister, and I! While there, we got to stay with my grandparents! It was an amazing adventure. It was funny though, because a bit before Christmas, my parents had gone out somewhere, and us kids were given permission to watch a movie we had asked for. After they had left, we changed out minds and decided to watch something else. But we couldn't find the movie! Then one of us had an idea and started shaking the presents under the Christmas tree. Sometimes when my parents wrap the presents, they will put a movie that is, in a way, connected to the presents. Under the wrapping paper, we heard the familiar sound of that particular movie. Then we tried to guess what the present was. We did make the joke of Universal Studios, but were completely kidding.
I also remember another funny time. Every Christmas we do something called "Secret Santas" basically where we pick a name out of a jar and we will get presents for that person. My sister and I had each other one year a long time ago, and we both wanted to make something special! Neither of us knew it (we had our suspicions) but just as one of us asked our brother for help making a present, so did the other! My sister made me some uneven bars and a beam for my doll - something I had been asking for. I made my sister a wooden tablet. It was a wonderful and thoughtful Christmas! 😊

4. If I could meet someone from history, who would it be and why?
I think it would be an amazing experience to have a conversation with the apostle Paul, or really any of Jesus's followers. The apostle Paul has experienced some pretty incredible things, which would be fascinating to hear about in normal conversation, and he is so wise.

5. Where would I want to be in 10 or more years?
Ohh, this is a fun question! I would love to be living in a home of my own in Eagle, Idaho (paid off), possibly married, with a golden retriever dog. I'm not sure what job I will want at that point, or if I will want to go to college. I would love to remain in a close relationship with my family then as well. I hope to have a good car - if I had my pick, it would definitely be a C-HR Toyota!

6. What prompted me to start a blog to encourage others?
Because my love language is words of affirmation, I thought it would be awesome if others could be encouraged by my words. I had been thinking a lot about anything I could do for God after seeing so many people sharing the story of Jesus, and at such a young age, a blog would be a good way of doing so. Honestly, I was putting together this blog in my mind just sometime after the beginning of this year, so I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted this blog to be about!

I hope you guys had fun with this! I'm thinking of doing another one sometime later as well. Possibly in the new year! Just a reminder, if you have any questions for Jesus, the best source is the Bible.
