Simon Says

The other night, for some reason I was thinking of Simon Says and how it actually can be put into our lives. When "Simon says..." you have to do what he says. But when Simon doesn't say, you are out. This is a lot like how Christian's lives should work. When God says... you should do what He says. Don't go doing things when He doesn't say.
It's funny, a simple children's game can teach us this. Well, maybe it's not a children's game. Who says older people can't play? 😀
Anyway, I just thought this was kind of a cool way to think of life. When you're doing something that you aren't sure is right, just ask yourself, "Did God say?"
If He didn't and you do it, then you lost the game. If you've played Simon Says with nice people, usually they let you stay in even if you did it when Simon didn't say. Of course then, you realized your mistake and tried harder to do exactly what Simon Says when he said it. God will let you keep playing, and when you realize your mistake, you will make sure to never do it again. If you want to be the winner, you have to stay in the game. If you want to stay in the game, you can't do something when God doesn't tell you to.
